V-Day Has A New Meaning

Valentine's Day is not really my favorite holiday but I try to make it fun for the kids. Making Valentine's for friends and picking out gifts to show them I love 'em is fun. We made a "really cool" box for Hunter's Valentine party shown in the picture below. It was his idea to do football field and his Dad's engineering made it come to fruition. It was the best in his class and even on the bus the "big kids" thought it was "wow"--success!

I, however, have had a Valentine's that will not be forgotten. Eric took me out last night to celebrate and we ate at a suishi bar on 25th street. The food was good and as far a suishi goes it was good as well. About 30 minutes after dinner I was soooooooooo sick and threw up til 3 o'clock in the morning. I woke up with a fever, chills and still sick to my stomach. I barely got out of bed to deliver 2 Valentine's for Sydney and restock my Sprite. Food poisoning is misery but I did manage to snap a couple of pictures of the kids for scrapbooking memories and to remind myself of this Valentine's Day! Try not to judge me based on this picture as I had barely moved that day :)
