4th of July........

Here are some pics from our fun and busy 4th of July! I am the City Councilman over city celebrations so I am the Chairperson for the entire 4th of July Celebration! It is a ton of work but worth all the great memories for my kids! Hopefully this is a good time line of pics for the days events!

We start the day with the Town Breakfast, 5k Run Freedom Run/1 Mile Fun Run and of course the Softball Tournament! This is our Umpire for the tournament Gordie! He has been calling the games forever and I love him!


We also have a Classic Car Show...There were some AWESOME cars this year! The kids loved it!

Then we have the Parade! Here is the City Council & Mayor "float"! We throw candy & t-shirts! My kids have a blast being in the parade!


This is the Chase Family. My friend Amber won the Mayor's Award this year! She has been battling breast cancer the last 2 years and has now stopped all treatment. She has such a wonderful spirit even though her time here on this earth nearly done.
After the parade we have skydiver and present the City Awards. This is Amber accepting the Mayor's Award along with the other winners.

After the awards we have have the kid's games, food booths, horseshoe tournament, bingo, and the rest of the tournament ball games! We have eaten so many hotdogs, hamburgers, cotton candy etc this week but so yummy!
