So here is a little bit about our Easter Weekend trip...we spent Easter Sunday in LAS VEGAS! I never thought that would happen because I am a very traditional person when it comes to holidays but I didn't have much choice in the matter. The kids woke up to the Easter bunny visiting and finding their eggs. Then we drove from St. George to Vegas to meet up with my sister and her fam. We shopped around the Forum Shops and ate at Planet Hollywood. Then we took the kids to the M&M store and the Coke store where we tasted soft drinks from around the world. Then we went back to my sister's hotel and let the kids swim. The kids were in awe of the whole Vegas atomsphere...hotels, rollercoasters, etc that they had a good time. The next day E & H went on a 200 mile motorcycle ride to the Grand Canyon. The bottom pic is E and H on the edge of the Grand Canyon just a foot from a 2000 foot drop off...all the pics game me anxiety so I don't feel bad about not taking that ride! The next pics are from our hike on the red rocks on the way home the next day...that was high enough for me! It was a quite a weekend but next year we won't spend Easter in Vegas!
